Andrology Centre in Warangal
A consulting room is not an andrology centre. What separates the two is equipment, and what that equipment lets you do in a single visit.
Andrology Centre in Warangal
Most men in Warangal seeking help for a sexual health or fertility concern are sent on a circuit — consultation in one place, semen analysis at a laboratory across town, ultrasound somewhere else, and surgery at a fourth address if it comes to that. Each handover loses time, repeats cost, and gives another opportunity for the file to go missing.
A dedicated andrology centre exists to collapse that circuit into one building. The distinction is not the signboard but the equipment behind it: whether the semen sample can be produced and processed on site within the correct time window, whether an operating microscope is available for microsurgery, and whether a sterile day-care theatre is there when a procedure is needed.
RAMS was built in Hanamkonda specifically around this. Consultation, diagnostics, day-care procedures and surgery all happen at Hospital Street, under one specialist — Dr. Rammohan Thatipamula, MCh Urology with a Fellowship in Andrology and Men's Health.
What the equipment actually changes for you
Private on-site collection room
Semen samples degrade during transport. A sample produced at home and carried across town regularly reads falsely poor, causing needless alarm and sometimes needless treatment. Producing it here means the analysis reflects your actual biology.
Operating microscope
Microsurgical varicocelectomy and microdissection sperm retrieval genuinely require magnification. Under the microscope the surgeon can spare the artery and lymphatics, and identify the tubules most likely to contain sperm — with lower recurrence and less tissue removed.
Uroflowmetry on site
An objective flow measurement separates true obstruction from an overactive bladder. Get this wrong and the medication prescribed can precipitate complete retention, so it is not a test worth skipping.
Sterile day-care theatre
Prosthesis implantation in particular depends on a controlled sterile field — infection is the complication that matters most in implant surgery. A dedicated theatre rather than borrowed operating time is part of how that risk is managed.
One specialist across the pathway
The man who examines you is the man who reads your Doppler, performs your surgery and sees you at follow-up. No summary gets lost between departments because there is no handover.

Facilities you can see before you commit
The theatre, microscope, uroflowmetry unit and recovery rooms are all photographed on our gallery page. Call ahead and you are welcome to see the centre before booking a procedure.
Coming from Warangal city
The centre is on Hospital Street in Hanamkonda, within the Chinta Neuro Centre premises, beside Gravid Home in the Balasamudram swimming pool lane. Parking on site.
Day-care means home the same day
Most andrology procedures here — TESA, PESA, varicocele correction — are day-care under local anaesthesia or brief sedation, so an overnight stay is usually unnecessary.
Dr. Rammohan Thatipamula
MBBS, MS, MCh Urology · Fellowship in Andrology & Men's Health
With more than 20 years in clinical practice, Dr. Rammohan is among the few specialists in the Warangal region with formal fellowship training in andrology alongside an MCh in urology. That combination means male sexual health, fertility and urological surgery are handled by one specialist, rather than split across departments.

Frequently Asked
What makes a centre an andrology centre rather than a clinic?
Equipment and scope. An andrology centre can perform the diagnostics on site — semen analysis in a private collection room, penile Doppler, hormone testing — and has an operating microscope and sterile theatre for the microsurgery that andrology depends on.
Do I need to travel to Hyderabad for microsurgery?
For the procedures we offer, no. Microsurgical varicocelectomy and sperm retrieval including microdissection are performed here under the operating microscope. Where a case genuinely needs a larger centre we say so and refer rather than attempt it.
Can everything be done in one visit?
Often the first visit covers consultation, examination, semen analysis and ultrasound assessment together. Some results and specialised tests take longer, and we tell you the timeframe when the test is arranged.
Is the centre open outside working hours?
Open 24 hours, all seven days. Planned andrology procedures are scheduled, but emergencies such as testicular torsion or acute retention are attended at any hour.
